Reading Challenge: Read 1 Library Book This Month
This month’s challenge is to read 1 book from your local library. If you are not already a member of your local library, Summer is the perfect time to join!
Libraries are full of amazing adventures, fascinating facts, funny stories and inspiring characters - all waiting to be discovered, and they are free to borrow! Irish libraries have a great Summer programme - Summer Stars! Summer Stars is the public library national summer reading programme for children that runs from the start of June until the end of August. All children throughout the country are invited to join the adventure and to enjoy the fun and pleasure of reading and writing over the summer. Summer Stars is non-competitive and every child who reads even one book/e-book is regarded as having completed the programme – and it’s all completely free!
Reading Challenge: Read 1 Library Book This Month
This month's reading challenge is to read 1 book from a library, this could be your local library or a different one. Libraries are a great way to get into reading. If the book you want is not in the library, simply ask one of the librarians and they will order it in from a different library.
